Mattapan Community Health Center (MCHC) is a Boston-based, private, not-for-profit FQHC that was founded in 1972. It is in a commercial district (Mattapan Square) on the southern edge of Boston and has been serving the community for over fifty years. MCHC is the largest employer in Mattapan. It is also the only comprehensive Health Center in the Boston neighborhood of Mattapan. MCHC’s goal is to provide comprehensive, culturally competent, high-quality health care services to adults and children.
